Parents Are Naming Their Kids After 'Game of Thrones' Characters

It's clear that Game of Thrones fans are SUPER passionate about the show. In some cases, parents are even naming their babies after characters.

More than 3,000 babies born in the U.S. last year named after people from the show.

"Arya" was the most popular name, given to more than 2,500 babies in 2018, making it the 119th most popular female name of the year. Coming in second was "Tyrion," the name given to 58 babies, followed by "Brienne" (33 babies), "Jorah" (30 babies) and "Sansa" (29 babies).
