All The Feels: Officer Runs A Race, Saves A Life, & Gets Engaged All In The Same Day

November 6, 2019

Running a race, saving a life, and getting engaged, it's all in a day's work for Chicago police sergeant Mike Nowacki.

Mike started his day running in annual Hot Chocolate Run Sunday in full SWAT gear. As he neared the finish line he spotted a woman on the ground. He stopped running and gave the woman CPR until paramedics arrived on the scene. The lady suffered a cardiac arrest and doctors say Mike literally saved her life.

As if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, after Mike crossed the finish line, he dropped to his knee and asked his girlfriend to marry him. She said YES!
