Garth Brooks Shares Plans to Open Nashville Bar

'When you talk about Broadway, that is ‘Friends in Low Places’ right there'

July 31, 2020

Garth Brooks shared some exciting news earlier this week during a virtual press conference. Aside from taking a back seat at this year's CMAs to allow someone new to take the Entertainer of the Year trophy and rescheduling what was supposed to be the first concert at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for February 27, 2021, Garth also announced that he's got plans to open up his own bar in Nashville!

"It’s coming in the future, but it’s gonna be done the way we do it. So it’ll be its own place very much like Blake's (Ole Red) is his own place. We’re gonna do it our own way," he explained.

Country stars Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Alan Jackson, John Rich, and Luke Bryan all have their own venues in music city.

Garth says the bar will likely open "in the next two years, three years" and will be located on Lower Broadway in Music City.

"When you talk about Broadway, that is ‘Friends in Low Places’ right there. It’s the perfect place."
