Teenager Invents Wristband That Alerts You If You're About To Touch Your Face

June 25, 2020

It sounds simple, don't touch your face. The problem is that we do it even without knowing. With COVID-19 still around we really need to keep our hands away from our face.

Wouldn't it be great if there was a device that could help you keeps your hands away from your face? Turns out there is! 15-year-old Max Melia designed a wristband that will alert you right before you're about to touch your face. After both his parents got the virus, he knew something had to be done and came up with the new product.

The wristband will vibrate to send you a reminder to get your hand away from your face. The band is rechargeable, splash-resistant. & can also be turned off when eating as a way to prevent constant vibrations. VybPro will sell for around $112. You can check out the Kickstarter campaign here.
