New York's Country 94.7 and Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram say Thank YOU to all of our First Responders.

Take time now to nominate your hometown heroes and loved ones in the submission form below.

Every Friday, a new First Responder from the Tri-State Area will be announced with Kelly Ford and Katie Neal at 9:55 am and honored throughout the day. First Responders who are selected will be contacted prior for a possible phone or in-person interview. All other First Responders will be featured every week on our First Responder Family Wall below.

This Week's Featured Responder:

#947FirstResponderFriday Grab a tissue before you read this nomination for Anthony Foruntato who is a firefighter in Mine Hill, Randolph and Maplewood, New Jersey. Nominated by his wife Candance who said....." To love and live with a first responder means that you know at any point, the pager can go off and they're up and out of the house in a split second. He puts his life at risk and faces danger head-on in order to save the people you love. My two daughters sadly lost their biological father to cancer when my oldest was 5 and my youngest was just 10 months old. From the moment I allowed Anthony into my daughters' lives, he stepped up to do everything in his power to give my girls the Daddy/daughter bond that they deserve. He teaches them right from wrong, coaches their sports teams, and is always there when they need somebody. They love to cheer "Go Daddy!" and watch him out the window as he leaves to go on fire calls. He may save people for a living, but he saved the three of us by going above and beyond to provide for us every single day." Sponsored by @ramsey_cjdr
