Vanessa Bryant was has responded to a family member's recent tattoo honoring her late husband, Kobe Bryant.

Sharia Washington, Kobe’s eldest sister, paid tribute to her late brother and her 13-year-old niece, Gianna, with a tattoo of their jersey numbers — 2 and 24 — wrapped in a Black Mamba snack coiled into an Infiniti sign.

Vanessa re-posted the photo Sharia shared on her own Instagram with the caption, "(My sister-in-law got this cool tattoo to honor #GigiBryant and #Kobe) 2~24 forever. Love you @shariawash."

The artist behind the ink, Peter Barrios, also shared more insight on his Instagram, writing, "I didn't take my own photo out of respect but today I had the honor of tattooing a memorial tattoo on @shariawash. Thank you for laughing with me today and letting me do this for you. I will never forget our conversations. Much love and respect your family."

Since Kobe’s passing, several celebrities have opted to remember him with tattoos, according to TMZ, including fellow NBA stars LeBron James, Anthony Davis, J.R Smith and SHAQ’s son, Shareef O’Neal, who was the last person to get a text from Kobe before tragedy struck.

Kobe and his daughter died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, along with 7 other passengers on Jan. 26.

Vanessa Bryant honored her late husband with an emotional speech during a public memorial held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, where Kobe played for the Lakers during his two-decade NBA career.

“God knew they couldn't be on this Earth without each other. He had to bring them home to have them together. Babe, you take care of our Gigi,” she said through tears.

During her speech, she also revealed that Kobe was quite the romantic and bought her the iconic blue dress from “The Notebook.”

Before the ceremony, Vanessa filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the helicopter company that operated the chopper essentially blaming the pilot for being negligent and flying in foggy weather conditions.
